May 13th The Forest Service hosted a wonderful picnic at the pavilion in Tallulah Falls. Different volunteer groups attended. Without volunteer and Forest Service communication the national forest would not be what they are today. BCHNEG truly appreciates our Forest Service!!
On March 18, 2017 BCHNEG had a very successful workday. One group was able to get the trail from Willis Knob Horsecamp to the trails re-worked. This involved donations of heavy equipment and machine operators. Thank you Tom Adams and Doyle Williams. A second group cleaned up the trails from day parking to the road. A third group cleaned up other Willis Knob trails.
A big thank you to everyone involved!
